Carros de Foc is a circular route that connects the 9 shelters of Aigüestortes National Park and Estany de Sant Maurici. The high mountain route, born and designed by the rangers in 1987, was a success for the participants from the start and became the most popular trekking route in the Pyrenees.

It is 61 km of road and 4660 m of elevation gain, which, crossing the counties of Haute Ribagorça, Pallars Jussà, Pallars Sobirà and Val d'Aran, allow you to contemplate some of the most beautiful and spectacular landscapes of the Pyrenees. like the lake of Sant Maurici, with the emblematic Encantats in the background, the circus of Colomèrs, the Besiberris, the plain of Aigüestortes, the towers of Amitges and the Needles of Travessani.
